I met Jennica and Patrick, as Jennica is my friend’s sister. It was so much fun to get to know the two of them, and photograph their wedding at Red Cedar Farm in Poulsbo, Washington. They were both so at ease with each other, and also so at ease with the whole wedding day….you could tell that they were thoroughly enjoying every bit of the occasion, and loving the opportunity to hang out with all of their friends and family, instead of getting wrapped up in any possible stress of it all!
From the outdoor adventure themed invitations, to the umbrellas prepared for guests in the event of the expected rain, to the cutely packaged dried cherries as wedding favors, everything about the wedding felt very “Pacific Northwest,” and very true to Patrick and Jennica’s easy going personalities!
Family played a huge role in the wedding, which also seemed true to who Patrick and Jennica are, and their values. Patrick’s brother and Jennica’s sisters all gave the toasts, and they were some of the most heartfelt I’ve heard, as they exemplified the tight-knit relationships they all had. I love seeing that with siblings!
I drove back to grab the ferry to Seattle, thankful to be a part of Patrick and Jennica’s special day. I hope you enjoy the images!
Then engagement snaps…
And the wedding….
