My fabulous intern, Megan Downs has written a few blog posts featuring some great ideas for photo shoot location options in the Seattle area. I will be introducing Megan and her work more in the near future, but for now, enjoy her posts as you dream up places to shoot! And, you can follow Megan and her work on facebook by clicking here.
Gasworks Park is located West of the University of Washington facing downtown Seattle, giving you a great view of the Seattle skyline on any sunny day. While it can be a little tricky to find Gasworks Park, with a GPS you should be there in no time. There is a good amount of parking but if it’s a sunny day get there early just to be on the safe side.
Along with the scenic view there is a large amount of grass that the whole family can enjoy, even the family pet if you want! With all of this space it would be a great place to capture some Kodak moments and quality time with the family. Along with the large space of grass and wonderful view, there is also a hill that has a sundial at the very top. Creating a fun time trying to figure out how to read it.
If you are looking for natural pictures and a great day in the sun with the family, this is the place to be.
