Photography that Increases Bookings

Design-forward imagery that doesn’t just document your home— it positions it to perform.

What this does for your listing

Most Airbnb photography shows a space. The right photography sells an experience—and drives revenue.

When a guest is scrolling, they are deciding in seconds:

  • Does this feel worth the price?

  • Does this feel better than the next option?

  • Can I see myself here?

Strong imagery answers all three immediately.

The result:

  • Higher click-through rates

  • More saves and shares

  • Increased perceived value

  • Ability to raise nightly rates

  • More consistent occupancy

This is not just photography—it’s positioning.

“I can’t say enough good things about working with Mallory MacDonald. She brought an incredible level of care and artistry to every shot — not just photographing the home, but truly seeing it. She took the time to capture individualized angles, light, and details that made the property feel elevated, intentional, and unique. The final gallery was stunning, and I’m genuinely excited to work with her again.”

WHAT I DO

I create editorial-style imagery for thoughtfully designed Airbnbs—capturing the full home while shaping a cohesive visual story that attracts the right guest.

With a background spanning photography, marketing, and interiors, I approach each project with a publication mindset—thinking about cohesion, pacing, and emotional impact across the entire listing.

The goal is simple: to create images that not only look beautiful, but perform.

WHY IT WORKS

Most listings compete on price. The best-performing listings compete on perception.

Editorial imagery:

  • Signals higher quality → justifies higher nightly rates

  • Creates emotional connection → increases conversion

  • Builds trust → reduces hesitation to book

  • Differentiates your property in saturated markets

In many cases, a small increase in nightly rate or occupancy covers the cost of photography quickly—and continues compounding over time.

HOW I WORK

Before photographing, I take time to understand both the home and the intention behind it—how the space is meant to be experienced.

From there, I build the shoot around an editorial narrative that feels true to the design and welcoming to future guests.

The result is a complete, thoughtfully curated image set that:

  • Meets Airbnb’s requirements

  • Feels calm, refined, and elevated

  • And most importantly—converts

“Mallory’s work consistently exceeds expectations. Her home and architectural photography is in a class of its own. Unlike many real estate photographers who rely on wide-angle shots and spend less than an hour on site, Mallory invests hours carefully composing each image to capture the true essence and feeling of a space. Her attention to detail and artistic eye bring interiors to life in a way that resonates with viewers. Mallory’s work is not just photography; it’s storytelling that elevates every project she touches.”
